The Nepean Northern Stars Chorus is more than just a singing group; we are a vibrant community hub built on the unique foundation of barbershop harmony! We bring together individuals of all ages and genders from across the Ottawa area, united by a love for music and a passion for performance.
Our mission extends beyond hitting the right notes. We strive to:
- Enrich Our Community: Bringing live musical performances to local events.
- Preserve and Promote Barbershop: Sharing this unique and engaging art form with new audiences.
- Foster Growth: Providing a supportive space for singers, from beginners to seasoned performers, to develop their talents.
- Support Vital Causes: Through our affiliation with the Ontario District of the Barbershop Harmony Society, we champion Harmonize 4 Speech (H4S), giving children a voice, and Sing Canada Harmony, strengthening vocal music nationwide.
